Handcrafted Keepsakes from Reclaimed Wood
When Gold Arrow Camp approached SKRP, they wanted to add a touch of magic to the classic camp experience — something small but meaningful that kids would remember long after summer ended. We answered with the Tooth Fairy Magic Box — handcrafted keepsake containers made from reclaimed wood, designed to safely hold a camper’s lost tooth until they made it home.
The Challenge
Campers lose a lot of things — including teeth! Gold Arrow wanted a creative way to turn that everyday moment into something memorable. The challenge was to design a keepsake box that was durable enough for life at camp, small enough to tuck into a backpack, and special enough to make a child’s face light up.
Our Approach
We began by sourcing reclaimed pallet wood from local Ontario suppliers, then CNC milled, engraved, sanded, and finished each piece by hand in our workshop.
The boxes were engraved with the Gold Arrow Camp emblem. The result was a blend of rustic charm and simple magic — a sustainable, sentimental solution built to last.
The Result
The final delivery included 500 Tooth Fairy Magic Boxes, each individually finished and packaged for distribution at the camp. These handcrafted treasures not only kept little teeth safe but also helped teach campers about reuse, craftsmanship, and the beauty of giving new life to old materials.
